We offer structured programs for new puppies, as well as intermediate and advanced training for older dogs. We take an individually customized approach for dogs looking to brush up on skills, or a dog that needs behaviour modification.

    STARTING JUNE 29 - $200.00 + HST

    4 in person lessons and 1 zoom orientation. These lessons are 45 minutes each week, and are designed for puppies aged 8 to 20 weeks. This in depth course teaches training foundations, as well as puppy behaviour basics and desensitization.

    We start with a 1 hour meet and greet Zoom orientation, to cover puppy learning theory.

    In this course, we cover the following problem solving and prevention topics:

    1) Handling

    2) Jumping, nipping, mouthing

    3) Socialization and positive proactive exposure

    4) House training and crating

    We will also introduce the foundations of the following training topics:

    1) Engagement

    2) Food Luring

    3) Verbal Marker Conditioning 

    4) Place

    5) Leash manners

    6) Leave it

    7) Recall

  • FULL!! STARTING JUNE 9th @ 12:00 pm for 6 weeks. $250.00 + HST

    Is your dog older 6 months and older and ready for obedience training?
    This 6 week program will introduce new skills, as well as build on existing commands and problem solving
    techniques.

    This program will introduce dogs and owners alike to the almighty 3 D’s used in our dog training
    model; duration, distance, and distraction.

    We use food reward and existential feeding in the obedience 1 program, and introduce or,
    continue with a marker system.

    This program will focus heavily on the introduction and use of duration and distance,
    implementing these components into pre-existing commands including:
    - Sit/Sit stay

    - Down/Down stay

    - Place training

    - Loose leash walking

    - Heel

    - Introduction to the recall command

    Although your dog isn’t required to know the above commands, foundations are a bonus. There
    is an added degree as distraction in this class, as the dogs are being training alongside each
    other. Your dog will be required to be on a six-foot lead at all times. Please ensure your dog
    exits the vehicle on a leash. Be prepared as the training is conducted outside with no safety
    fencing. It’s important to make sure that your dog has a properly fitting collar to ensure safety.

    Please bring lots of treats, as this training is primarily reward based.

    Upon arrival, you will be directed to your training area.

    Please note: if your dog has excessive hyper excited behaviour on a lead, please be sure to note

    this to the trainer prior to the first lesson. Any excessive lunging, growling or barking at other

    dogs will highly impact the success and outcomes for other dogs and owners attending this

    class. If your dog suffers from leash reactivity, please inform the trainer.
